The West Coast Beatbox Championship is the USA’s leading international beatboxing competition. Here, beatboxers face off in three battle categories for the chance to win the grand prize and esteemed title. This exciting event showcases the art form of Human Beatbox at the highest level, and has brought National and World Champions of beatbox to the west coast as guests, judges, and performers. Our events are a great opportunity for music lovers to enjoy beatboxing for their first time and for existing fans to see their favorite show and competitors every year.

2025’s West Coast Beatbox Championships will take place at The Template in Ocean Beach, San Diego.

We feel this venue has the capability to bring this competition to life and bring value for competitors and spectators with its awesome staff, amazing location and wonderfully unique aesthetic.

Solo Beatbox Battle 

Loop Station Battle 

7 to Smoke Beatbox Battle

Each competition will have a winner, which means we’ll have up to three West Coast Beatbox Champions!

Competitors at the West Coast Championships 2025 will receive part of our largest prize pool ever, currently a $1500 value!

For Solo and Loop Battles, all qualified competitors will receive a base case prize which will increase with every successive battle they win. The 1st place champions of each category will receive bonus prizes such as custom artwork, cash, trophies, and more awesome stuff.

For the 7 To Smoke, only the champion will walk away with a special prize, consisting of Cash & Merch.

Is this event all ages?

Yes - All attendees under 21 will have their hands marked and all attendees under 18 should arrive with a responsible parent or guardian.

Long Island Beatbox events are almost always family friendly and all ages. It’s a fun occasion to show your kids the magic of beatbox, meet the community, and pick up an awesome hobby.

Can I join the battle?

The Solo and Loop battles are CLOSED registration.

The 7 To Smoke is OPEN ELIMINATION, which anyone can sign up and will take place at the start of Day 1 and 2. The battle will take place on the start of day 2.
